All Aboard! Denis Arndt & Mary-Louise Parker Begin Performances in Broadway's Heisenberg

Tony winner Simon Stephens' latest play is ready to bow on Broadway! Denis Arndt and Mary-Louise Parker start performances in Heisenberg on September 20. The twice-extended off-Broadway hit follows Stephens' The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Helmed by Mark Brokaw, the production is scheduled to officially open on October 13 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Main Stem venue, the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Amidst the bustle of a crowded London train station, Georgie (Parker) spots Alex (Arndt), a much older man, and plants a kiss on his neck. This electric encounter thrusts these two strangers into a life-changing game.

"Heisenberg is the theoretical physicist who in the 1920s developed and refined the idea of the uncertainty principle. I think it applies not just to molecular physics, but to humanity," Stephens told Broadway.com. "That's what Heisenberg's about: the human capacity to astonish one another."
